Stella is a cloud-based knowledge management and collaboration solution purpose-designed for IT managed services companies - particularly those using Kaseya, Connectwise and Autotask in their customer service platforms.
Stella uses a Wiki framework to provide engineers and service desk staff with instant online access to each customer’s full site documentation and knowledge base. Stella includes sophisticated reporting tools, a customer self service portal, and many other features designed to increase service quality while reducing service costs.
Launched worldwide during 2013, Stella is now being used to help support over 10,000 users with sites in New Zealand and the US. Stella is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Accelerate Ltd, a privately-owned technology ‘incubator’ company.

Ken Davis is the founder and majority owner of Accelerate, a technology incubator company. Ken Davis started out in the IT industry more than 20 years ago at software company Fact International. He is a former CEO of Toshiba in New Zealand, and was the founder of CodeBlue, New Zealand’s leading IT services company servicing mid-sized companies and organizations.
Thomas Berger created the original Stella proof of concept including designing and specifying the system functionality. He is highly experienced in the Atlassian Confluence team collaboration framework and has leveraged this experience to maximise the use of Confluence as a key part of the Stella solution.
Stephen Robb’s unique skill set spans software development and architecture, project management, analysis and senior management. He has held senior roles in both software product and systems integration companies. Stephen spends his time working with New Zealand technology companies who are exporting their solutions to the world. Stephen’s role at Stella Now encompasses product & commercial strategy, technical oversight and project management.
Stella offers software engineering, support and software sales career opportunities. With more than 10,000 customers in New Zealand and implementations underway in North America and Australia, we are looking for good talent. We invest heavily in training and technical skills for our people.
Stella is interested in people who have excellent technical skills with entrepreneurial drive and a flair for building enduring customer relationships. We specifically look for extensive business experience in distributing and maintaining cloud solutions. Technical skills in JAVA, J2EE and Atlassian Confluence are always in demand.
